Thrive Edtech Raises $180k in Early Funding 

Thrive Edtech, In its early funding stage, the Dhaka-based educational technology start-up raised $180,000 to help to shape the education landscape in Bangladesh.

Mehedi Hasan, Chairman, and Founder, Omicon Group’s conglomerate with over thirty years of experience in the education industry, has already invested in Thrive strategically.

Thrive Edtech looks forward to leverage market access through its partnership with Omicon.

The group has leading editorial titles in Bangladesh and direct channels with more than 70% of educational institutions and one of the largest educational content libraries in the world.

Thrive also has Quazi Zulquarnain, who introduced Uber ridesharing in Bangladesh as one of its leading investors.

Web-based (IoT) investor in the gaming industry in Bangladesh, Abdul Ghafur Bashir is also a consultant and investor for this startup.  

Thrive has raised a total of over $200,000 and is focused on transforming how classroom learning works. This is done by giving every Bangladeshi classroom the power to provide personalized education.

HolonIQ has ranked some of Thrive’s notable honors in the 100 South Asian EdTech. Thrive EdTech also completed NSU Startups Next the country’s most successful startup incubator.

The Edtech startup believes that Bangladesh’s education space is extraordinary, as the country is home to more than 40 million students. However, the learning ecosystems and the country’s people lack digital networks, devices, affordability, and technological knowledge.

Thrive’s goal is to unlock a scaled delivery of quality education throughout the country.
